About Cashman Field
This is the first time that Cashman Field will be used to host a soccer game in its 31 year history. Originally built during the tenure of the late Mayor William Briare (1975-1987), Cashman Field was built to accommodate a regulation size soccer pitch as well as a baseball field. Bringing  soccer to a purpose built arena marks the intention of Las Vegas Pro Soccer to showcase both elements of its title - Las Vegas, the entertainment capital, and soccer the world's most popular sport. The LA Galaxy and San Jose Earthquakes will provide exciting, high level players at the top of their game, playing for the honor of their team.
